3 women were given anti rabies injection instead of Covid-19 vaccine

Coronavirus has killed many lives, Covid-19 situation is still alarming. Meanwhile, people are taking precautions and safety measures to protect themselves from getting infected.

Whereas a shocking, as well as careless incident, took place in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli district where three women were given Anti-rabies vaccine instead of Covid-19 vaccine.The women were identified as Saroj, Anarkali and Satyavati. They have gone to the government community health centre in Kandhla on Thursday and after administering the doses the women were handed Anti-rabies vaccine slips.

After this incident took place the family members of the women staged a protest and demanded strict action against the medical staff responsible for the error.

According to the statement given by the health care in charge, Bijendra Singh said that" an enquiry would be conducted regarding this issue and strict action will be taken against those found guilty".
