Ballai, Uttar Pradesh: On Thursday a brutal shootout was held of a man in front of local officials in Ballai, Uttar Pradesh over a conflict. After the incident the Cheif Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri. Yogi Adityanath suspended the officials present at the time of the shootout.

Jaiprakash a 46- years old was allegedly shot dead by Dhirendra Singh, a BJP worker. A stampede followed after the shooting that was captured in a video.

The incident was share bt the ANI a news agency. The video showcased many people on a field as three rounds are fired. People were panicking and running frantically in the 5-second video.The deceased was shot dead by the culprit in a village of Durjanpur during a meeting. Sooner, the officials cancelled the meeting on allocations of ration shops during a conflict between the members of the meeting held on that day.

According to locals who witnessed the incident said, the meeting was held in a tent, where a large number of people gathered. Main officials and police personnel were there at the time of the incident.MLA Surendra Singh confirmed that the accused heads the BJP's ex-serviceman's unit in Ballia and also said these incidents can happen anywhere

As per the BJP worker, he said "any casualty that can happen anywhere. Although in this case, there was stone-pelting from both sides. The law will take its course in the matter."

An FIR is lodged against 15-20 people associated with the incident including the deceased's brother. None is arrested till date.

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered the suspension of the sub-divisional magistrate, a top police official and others soon after.
