Covid-19 Curbs Relaxed In West Bengal

Permits Salons, Parlour to operate with 50% capacity


On Saturday, the West Bengal Government relaxed Covid-19 related curbs in the state. The Government permitted the Salons and Parlours to operate in the state with 50 percent capacity.

 

According to the information, the salons and Parlours can be operated till 10 pm. The owners and the Management have been asked to ensure that the staff and the customers are inoculated with both doses of Covid-19 vaccination.

 

Information mentions that all persons must follow appropriate behavior for Covid-19 in the respective areas and regular sanitization must be followed.

 

With the prevailing Conditions of Covid-19, all the educational institutions remain closed in the state, and flight services are regulated.

 

Also, the gym and swimming pool services are shut in West Bengal. The cases of Covid-19 are fluctuating in their respective state. The state governments are implementing and relaxing the curbs in the state as per the scenario.

 

Few states have implied more curbs whereas few have relaxed. Also, educational institutions and schools in some states like Nashik, Odisha, Assam, Bihar, and many more had led towards closure due to an increment in cases of Covid-19.

 

According to the data, On Friday, the West Bengal state reported 17,213 cases of Covid-19 which took the overall tally to 17,11,957. The death toll mounted to 19,864 with 18 fatalities. Around 51,384 are active cases in the state and 7,912 have been recovered in the last 24 hours in the state.
