Delhi has recorded highest crime rate against foreigners in 2019

According to the latest government data, Delhi has recorded the highest number of crimes against foreigner in last year i.e. 30.1 percent, Maharashtra is in second position with 11.7 percent and then Karnataka with11.2 percent.
According to the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB) data, total 409 crime cases against foreigners, which includes rape, murder and theft were lodged in 2019, there were 517 crime cases lodged in 2018, and 492 cases in 2017.
Delhi had lodged 123 cases, Maharashtra had 48 cases, and Karnataka had 46. Total 53 percent cases were lodged during the year, showed by the data. 
There are few more states in the list, Tamil Nadu (5.6 percent), Goa and Uttar Pradesh (both 5.1 percent), Haryana (4.6 percent), Rajasthan (3.9 percent), Kerala and Assam (both 3.7 percent) and Madhya Pradesh (3.2 percent).
The NCRB data has showned that among the the 409 cases lodged last year, the maximum cases were for theft with 142 cases, 54 cases were categorized as "other Indian Penal Code (IPC) crimes", 41 cases were loged for cheating, 26 cases were loged for assault on women with intent to outrage her modesty, 14 cases were simple hurt, 13 cases of murder, 12 cases of rape,  5 cases were lodged for kidnapping during the year, and 15 cases were lodged under the Immoral Traffic Act. 
According to the latest government data, in a marginal decline India has also recorded an average of 79 murder cases daily in 2019. 
NCRB also showed there was a marginal decline of 0.3% between the year of 2019 and 2018 i.e. in 2019 total 28,918 cases were registered and 29,017 cases in 2018.
