"Didn't Know Camera Was On" After Vamika's Picture Went Viral

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma explains after the face revealed...

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's Daughter Vamika's photograph went viral over social media. The picture showcased Anushka Sharma and Vamika cheering in front of the camera was captured during a match between India Vs South Africa.

Vamika's photograph was screen short and was shared all across social media. Also, the fans were seen unhappy with this. After the photograph went viral, Bollywood queen Anushka Sharma took her Instagram and wrote, she doesn't mean Vamika to be filmed, repeating her request that photos of her daughter not be taken or shared.

She wrote: “We realize that our daughter's images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off-guard and didn't know that the camera was on us. Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate it if Vamika's images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier.”

Last year, the actress and her cricketer husband, Virat Kohli, revealed why they wanted the paparazzi and fan clubs not to publish pictures or videos of their baby girl. In an Instagram post, the actress wrote, "We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice restraint in the matter."

When pictures of Vamika have been shared on the internet, her face has been blurred to respect her privacy.
