Farmers Protest Site likely to be Vacated in 2 Days

Farmer's Union Meet Taking Place


The border areas in Delhi, where farmers' protest is taking place, will be vacated in two more days.



According to the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) sources, it said, "May take two more days to vacate the borders where farmers' protests are being held. Adding more, also said, "The agitation could be continued in some other form in other states until demands are met and given in a written form."



According to the statement given by Rakesh tikait, he says "will go home only after every other farmer reached home safely. Adding more the leader said, "When every single person reached home, only then will the Ghazipur protest site be cleared. This is our monitoring point, so it will take at least three to four more days to reach Muzaffarnagar ".

 

Further he also said “he requires everything on paper, we have told the government's side that our only demand us that they should be given in writing. We will not accept it until it is written on paper with the stamp of the government”.

 

 "We don't have any time limit, we just need the papers. We have a meeting at noon and if we get papers then, we will take action based on that", he added to his statement.



The farmer’s union meet is taking place today. The farmer's union body, Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) is set to meet today to decide the future course of their protest. The protest was for the tree farm laws initiated by the Central Government which has been taken back.

 

On Tuesday, the centre had sent a detailed draft to the SKM five members committee after factoring in their feedback. The farmers union accepted it addressing their pending demands on Wednesday.
