Gurgaon: All healthcare, frontline workers to be vaccinated by August 15

50,185 healthcare workers in Gurgaon received their first dose while 33,644 health workers have received their second.


On Thursday, the civil surgeon of the district notified all healthcare workers from the government and private hospital workers to get vaccinated till August 15. According to the official, 50,185 healthcare workers in Gurgaon received their first dose while 33,644 health workers received their second. As per the information given by the data, showing in the pending portal, many healthcare workers have been shifted to subcontract in which many of them vaccinated themselves from somewhere, the information has been collected through contacting them.

In addition, for the safety of frontline workers, a team will be sent to the district which will cover two departments every day. The session is organized for the health workers in the morning and the evening. Otherly, data available with the health department, of the 17.41 lakh people in the district, 76.8 percent have received their first dose and 30.2 percent have received their second. Around 20,000 people are being vaccinated in the district every day
