Harshit Seth creates a new record

Harshit Seth created history as he took 6 wickets in an over in a U19 league match against the U19 team from Pakistan. Harshit bowled 4 overs including 2 maidens. He gave away 4 runs and took 8 wickets which included a double hat-trick.  

The match was played at the Eden Gardens grounds in Ajman approved by the Anjam Cricket Council and was organised by Karan Global. After being put to bat first DCC Starlets scored a total of 137/6 in 20 overs with the opener Saqib Palenkar scoring 64 runs off 50 balls. Hyderabad Hawks Academy bowled well with Saifullah Khan taking 2 wickets in his 4 overs spell.

Defending a total of 138 seemed to be a problem for the DCC starlets; they required an extraordinary performance by their bowlers, which was given to them by Harshit Seth. Harshit Seth took 8 wickets in his 4 overs spell and gave only 4 runs which restricted the Hyderabad Hawks to 44 runs all out.

Harshit Seth is an Indian Origin cricketer who has represented UAE in the U16 at the age of 14 and is currently preparing himself for the U19 World Cup. The 16-year-old is an all-rounder.

Harshit was declared the “Man of the match” for his brilliant performance.
