India became the first country in the world to vaccinate 50 lakh people in 21 days, a big record in the war against Corona

India has made a record of the fastest country to vaccinate 50 lakh people in 21 days in the world. And The ministry said that 22 deaths have been recorded so far and none of the deaths have been formally related to Covid-19 vaccination.


As per the data of the Health Ministry, India had vaccinated 3,31,029 beneficiaries on Friday. The Health Ministry said on Friday that India has become the first country in the world to have more than 5 million people in just 21 days of Covid-19 Vaccination. About 53 lakh beneficiaries had been given vaccine doses by Friday evening, after the vaccination campaign began in the country on January 16. If we compare the pace of vaccination with the other countries, vaccine doses have been given to 5 million people in the US in 24 days, while in Britain, 43 and Israel, in 45 day.

"The nationwide Covid-19 vaccination campaign continued successfully even on the 21st day," the ministry said, adding that so far around 53 lakh health workers have been given vaccine doses. According to the data received till 5 February, 6 pm, a total of 52,90,474 beneficiaries have been vaccinated through 1,04,781 sessions. "3,31,029 beneficiaries were vaccinated till 6 pm on the 21st day of the vaccination campaign," said Manohar Agnani, Additional Secretary at the Health Ministry.

The additional secretary throws light on the system of alerting the beneficiaries of their vaccination status. The Ministry said the final report could be completed by late Friday night. He said that after vaccination, a total of 27 people have been required to be hospitalized. No beneficiary has required hospitalization in the last 24 hours. The Ministry said that 22 deaths have been recorded so far and none of the deaths have been formally related to Covid-19 vaccination.
