iPhone12 May Or May Not Support 5G On Dual-SIM Off The Beaten Track: Report

iPhone not supporting 5G

The ultra modern iPhone12 dual SIM might not facilitate 5G, matter first addressed on reddit.

Apple launched its latest product iPhone 12(models:iPhone12 Mini, iPhone12, iPhone12Pro and iPhonw12 Pro Max) on October 14with a dual-SIM Support-a physical Nano-SIM and an eSIM with 5G support. Apple first launched its dual-SIM  feature in its iPhones on 2018 (models:iPhoneXR, iPhoneXS and iPhoneXSMax)

iPhone12 is more likely to not support 5G dual-SIM mode. This so-called issue was first brought into notice of the consumers on Reddit,  accompanied by an internal Apple training document posted by a user in a discussion that appears to have verified the matter. “While using two lines in Dual SIM mode, 5G data isn't supported on either line and will fall back to 4G LTE. If consumers are using an eSIM only and are on a 5G supported carrier and service plan, they will have 5G access” reads the rumored Apple Training Document that the Reddit poster lay claim to. The Reddit poster claim is from Apple’s Sales Web Resources. The user will either have to disable 5G on the physical SIM or e-Sim to receive  5G speed on the new iPhone12.

This argument was first foxed by Mac Rumors and they write that it has autonomously committed to the reliability of the Apple Training Document. To the upcoming replies on the original Reddit post, one more user who declared to have acquired Verizon’s Training Documents, says all concerns with the iPhone12’s dual-SIM 5G support will be solved with a software update by the end of this year. Apple has not mentioned anything on this issue or its fix. It's also not very clear if all iPhone12 models will be shipped with this flaw currently.
