The 28th match of IPL was bewitching for fans of Royal Challengers Bangalore witnessing them acing in both batting and bowling departments. Undoubtedly, this match must have threatened the nerves of other teams due to the extraordinary game demonstrated by the players. Challengers defeated Knight Riders by a huge sum of 82 runs.

The equations swaying the points table is changing rapidly due to startling performance by RCB. They climbed to third position achieving 5 wins out of 7. The winning trend for the team was initiated with winning of toss and choosing to bat. They shook the scoreboard with a bewildering score of 194 on loss of 2 wickets.

Batting and bowling trends were flawlessly established by the team, making it difficult for Knights to pull up the castle falling apart. AB de Villiers gave us some praiseworthy batting goals to appreciate on breakfast tables. He smashed an unbeatable 73 off 33 balls, forcing 5 fours and 6 sixes beyond the boundary to accolade his excellence. Later, he was declared Man of the Match. RCB skipper Virat Kohli (33 off 28) mentioned the struggles everyone faced to bat but appreciating Villiers as 'superhuman' he said, "At the toss the pitch didn't have the usual Sharjah sheen. Knew the wicket was going to get slower and slower. Barring one superhuman, everyone struggled on that pitch. "

Alongside de Villiers, Aaron Finch also gathered  47 runs off 37 deliveries and made a desirable contribution to offer 195 run chase. Bowling was a commendable part of the game by RCB. Sundar and Morris took 2 wickets each and ensured to choke the boundaries putting pressure on KKR. Challenger's bowlers who are often subjected to ridicule when it comes to bowling gave a befitting reply to critics with yesterday's performance. Every bowler ended up uprooting one wicket. The fierce field set by RCB made it wrenching for Kolkata to hold up and dismissed all the wickets on score of 112. It seemed the target was impalpable for Knight Riders.
