Japan: 19 missing after powerful mudslide hits Tokyo

On Saturday owing to rain a the powerful mudslide, flash flood crushed the houses of people in the town west of Tokyo. 19 people are missing as official. Many homes have also burned out in Atami as the town is well known for hot springs, disaster management officer Takamichi Sugiyama addressed. In the case, Public broadcaster NHK has given up the number of missing people was 20 but Mr. Sugiyama confirmed 19, the number of missing people although he says, the number may grow Heavy rain has been lashing from this week .

In addition, the experts informed the dirt loosened in increasing landslide risks where the place filled with valleys and mountains. In that area it was raining hard from the morning Sugiyama adds. The police, defense forces, and firefighters will be here for help. The Evacuation warnings has been issued for a widespread area .In multiple times due to the landslides, the car got struck. The current  Footage, shows a powerful, black mudslide slide down a mountainside, knocking down and crushing houses and sweeping away cars in its way. Many people had watched the horror situation but they were helpless as some people also recorded the footage on phones at the collapsed happened, Atami a resort area in Shizuoka prefecture, about 100 kilometers (60 miles) southwest of Tokyo. The area that was hit by the mudslide, which , includes hot springs, residential areas, shopping streets, and a famous shrine.
