Price hike in Delhi And Mumbai!


Metro cities including the National capital and Mumbai witnessed a surge in prices of Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and other prices including petrol and Diesel prices which have been showcasing a great change again in these cities.

 

The prices of domestic LPG cylinders have been hiked by Rs50 in Delhi, Mumbai, and other cities, the first hike since October 6, 2021. In the national capital, the rate of a 14.2 kg non-subsidized domestic LPG cylinder has increased from Rs899.50 to Rs949.5 according to the announcement made by OMCs.

 

According to the information, the prices In Chennai for the cooking gas will cost Rs965.50 and in Lucknow, it will set you back by Rs987.50

 

According to the information given by the sources, it said a 5-kg LPG cylinder will now cost Rs349 while a 10-kg composite bottle will be priced at Rs669, whereas the 19-kg commercial cylinder will now cost Rs2, 003.50.

Further, the sources said, the hike in prices is in line with a spike in international energy prices, sources said.

 

This is the first increase in LPG rates since early October. Until now, prices had been on a freeze even as the cost of raw materials spiraled.

 

Meanwhile, Delhi and other metro cities have a huge impact on changes in prices. The price of LPG cylinders is revised monthly for all states and union territories in India.
