Priyanka Gandhi To Launch Congress Manifesto For Uttarakhand

Manifesto will be released during an event today!

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi is all set to launch the party's manifesto for the upcoming Uttarakhand Assembly elections 2022. The Congress leader will release the party's manifesto for Uttarakhand at an event in Dehradun on February 2 (Today).

The Congress has already launched a poll campaign, "Char Dham, Char Kam", making four guarantees to people of the state if it reaches power in next month's Assembly polls. As per the information, all the 70 constituencies would be connected virtually in Uttarakhand.

The four promises of the Congress party encompass four lakh job opportunities, capping LPG price if it comes to power.

According to the statement given by Congress media in-charge Rajeev Mehrishi told TOI, “In our manifesto, we are trying to cover all key factors that are related to Uttarakhand and its people.

Priyanka Gandhi is going to release the party manifesto on February 2. The copies of the manifesto will soon be circulated in all the assembly constituencies.” The manifesto is being readied by a committee, composed of senior party members, led by former minister Navprabhat.

The committee members have met with people hailing from different sections of the society, including women, students, traders, journalists, and businessmen, to seek their inputs for the party manifesto. He further said, from February 2, a battery of senior party members will be coming to Uttarakhand. The electioneering process will go on for the next 10 days.

The Uttarakhand assembly has 70 seats while the majority mark is 36. The voting will be held on February 14 while the counting of votes will take place on March 10.
