Ray of hope in despair: Covid 19 Case count drops to 78,303; Recoveries saw a significant boost

Covid-19 cases drop to average of 75,000

India's daily count of Covid 19 cases has been dropped after a long pioneering rise
witnessed from last three months. Recovery rates have been boosted and cases fell
to an average of 75,000 since last few days.
Nobody would have ever thought of such an inevitable and uninvited pause that hit
the human lives after the advent of first Covid positive case in China which soon
took over on entire world limiting them to their houses and depriving them of
social presence. The lockdowns imposed on several countries have adversely
affected the social circles and lifestyles of people or in a way changed the way to
perceive and appreciate small things in life. India is among the worst hit countries
due to this pandemic and is struggling hard to free itself from shackles of
distancing and lockdown.
With over 61 lakhs of registered cases in India the need of immunization and
precautions could be felt in every heart of nation. Lockdown was never a choice
but the first and last option adopted by every government across the globe to
secure its citizens. India saw an all time high rise of 98,000 cases per day which
lasted for quite a long time. So this fall might seem insignificant to some but one
could see it as a result of preventive measures and vigilant conscience. The death
toll across the nation rose to 97,000 till now but we are hoping to register some
overwhelming statistics in coming days if this depreciating trend persists.
The Health Ministry on Tuesday shared some positive stats in deteriorating frame
to both calm and alert the citizens. The Ministry tweeted "India has witnessed
close to 100 per cent increase in recoveries in the past month. More than 82 per
cent of total cases (exceeding 50 lakhs) recovered and discharged. Active cases
(lower than 10 lakhs) a small proportion (less than 1/5th) of total cases". These
falling steps are evidence of us heading in the right direction but we need to accept
the uncertainty swaying us from months.

These positive outcomes can continue by support and efforts of every citizen. We
have come so far together to combat this evil. We can't afford another setback.
Every human can try to be a part of solution by adopting guidelines issued Health
Ministry and WHO to prevent themselves. Stay Home, Stay Safe, Stay Secure.
