Man killed and two injured in a tiger attack
On 27 march 2023, a man was killed and two others were injured in an attack by the tiger in the Surajpur district area of Chattisgarh.
According to the information received by the forest department, the incident happened in a forest near the Kalamanjan village, where the victims went to collect wood that comes under the Odgi block of the Surajpur district.
The deceased was identified as Samay Lal (32), whereas Kailash Singh (35) and Rai Singh (30) tried to escape with critical injuries, and they rushed to the nearby hospital.
According to the official information, one of the injured people has been shifted to Ambikapur, and the other one is in a stable condition.
The forest department is investigating in the issue.
