Mexico is the world's only producer of authentic tequila...

Mexico: police have found 11,520 tequila bottles, which were due for export nearly 10 tonnes of concentrated liquid meth.

On Monday at the Pacific coast seaport of Manzanillo, the discovery was made. The bottles contained about 8,640kg (19,000 pounds) of methamphetamine.

Photos show a sniffer dog alerting the police inspector about the cardboard boxes full of glass bottles with tequila liquid.

The only authentic producer of tequila in the world is Mexico.

Methamphetamine's one of the biggest producers has become Mexico, and frequently drug smugglers stopped at the border with liquid meth in their windshield washer fluid or other containers in their cars.

Usually by smugglers the liquid meth was recovered and taken to facilitates where the water is extracted and later returned to its original crystal form.
