Farmers protesting announced the chakka jam, which is no more happening, but the Delhi police has been taking majors.


Delhi police have used other measures, including tightening security and tightening patrols in the Delhi border areas, to deal with any situation from the 'chakka jam' proposed by farmers protesting against the farm rules.  Farmers have decided to block roads and highways during ‘chakka jam’ across the country for three hours. There will be no 'chakka jam' in Delhi, the recent statement made by farmers union. The times for 'chakka jam' are 12:00 to 3 p.m., which farmers say is expected to be peaceful, will not be held in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand on Saturday. Thousands of farmers, most of them from the Punjab, Haryana and west of Uttar Pradesh, have been camping in three Delhi border areas - Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur - for more than 70 days, demanding the abolition of the three farm-laws.

Delhi police have deployed about 40,000 workers across the borders of the national capital. It includes local police stations to keep the situation in place. At least 12 major metro stations in Delhi are on alert. To assist Delhi Police in maintaining law and order during peacekeeping operations, 'soldiers' have been deployed to various parts of Delhi-NCR, including borders.

The heavy deployment of police to Red Fort as a means of preventing the eradication of acts caused by the demands of the 'Chakka Jaam' of farmers' unions that violate farm rules.

Strict preventive measures taken along the Ghazipur border with water trucks have been used, as a first step in dealing with possible disruptions caused by 'Chakka Jaam' calls from farmers' unions that violate farm rules.
