2 kids injured after fire breaks out in Delhi’s Mandawali

Leakage of Gas!


Many unknown happenings take place. At least two children were injured after a fire broke out inside their house in Saket block of Delhi's Mandawali on Thursday.


As per the information, the incident was reported at 3:37 pm, following which police rushed to the spot and found that two minor children were trapped in the fire.


According to the information, they were immediately evacuated and taken to LBS Hospital. One of the boys aged 3 years sustained minor burn injuries and was discharged after primary treatment.


However, the other kid who was 6 years old, suffered serious burn injuries and was shifted to Safdarjung hospital for further treatment.


An initial enquiry has revealed that the mother of the kids was cooking when fire broke out in an LPG cylinder. 


It is suspected that the fire broke out due to leakage of gas. However, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.


According to the statement, “Initial inquiry revealed that the children's mother was cooking food when the fire broke out which spread possibly due to leakage of the gas. However, inquiry is on to ascertain the exact cause of fire and appropriate legal action will be taken accordingly."
