20 Year Old Sexually Assaulted, Paraded Through Streets

Delhi CM calls 'Very Shameful'


Another heinous act took place in the National capital Delhi. A 20-year-old was sexually assaulted and was paraded by the attackers.



According to the police, she was Parading on the streets of East Delhi's Kasturba Nagar, her hair was chopped,face blackened and a garland of shoes was around her neck. The police have arrested the four people. The shameful incident took place on Wednesday, the police said, 'the woman was at her husband's home in Anand vihar when the accused who lived near her mother's place in Kasturba Nagar abducted her. The police also described the incidents as the results of personal enmity.



According to the statement given by a senior police officer, "The boy committed suicide in November the last year and his family is now blaming the victim. They have alleged that it was because of her he took the extreme step. To exact revenge on her, they allegedly abducted her. They wanted to teach her a lesson, “reported the senior police officer.



Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called it a shameful act. How did the criminals get so much courage? I request the Union Home Minister and the LG to direct the police to take strict action and pay attention to the law and order situation in Delhi. Delhiites won't tolerate such heinous crimes and criminals at any cost." He tweeted in Hindi.



The national capital generally faces one or the other crime daily. The DCP tweeted it calling "an unfortunate incident of sexual assault on women due to personal enmity happened in Shahdara District." Also, the video has been viral over social media. Viewers are sharing all across and were seen showing their aggression in tweets and social media comments.
