On being rejected, lover brutally stabbed the woman to death.
On Monday, a 22-year-old Dolly Babbar was allegedly stabbed to death by her lover whom she had rejected. Around 2 pm she left the house and told her parents that she is going to stay at night at a friend’s place. She was allegedly attacked by three men outside her house in Dwarka’s Matiala road. The neighbors saw the woman getting stabbed 5-6 times by the boy.
When the police arrived, she was found in a pool of blood. On being taken to the hospital she was declared dead. “The neighbours told us that Ankit was her ex-boyfriend and they saw him stabbing her multiple times. A case has been registered. Investigation is under process,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shankar Chaudhary. The family said the deceased was threatened with a pistol earlier.
The CCTV footage of that night was procured which showed three men, while one of them started stabbing her as others watched. The neighbours also heard her screams but no one helped her.
