25-Year-Old Man Dies After Using Water Slide at Noida Mall

Breathing Trouble Reported Before Fatal Incident


 On Sunday, a 25-year-old man passed away at a water park in Noida's Great India Place mall after experiencing breathing difficulties following a ride on the slide, as reported by the police.

Dhananjay was rushed to Kailash Hospital by mall authorities, where medical professionals pronounced him deceased.

Sanjay Maheshwari, residing in Delhi's Adarsh Nagar and father of Dhananjay, stated that his son had left home with four friends. According to the friends, Dhananjay expressed difficulty breathing after the slide ride and rested for a while. Suddenly, he collapsed, prompting his friends to rush him to the hospital.

Upon receiving notification, the police arrived at both the hospital and the mall to initiate an investigation into the incident. Dhananjay's body was subsequently transferred for an autopsy.

Additional Commissioner of Noida Police, Parveen Kumar, stated that they have engaged in discussions with both the management of the water park and Dhananjay's family.

Authorities are currently analyzing CCTV footage from the water park as part of their investigation, and further actions are being taken accordingly.
