250 violators fined in Delhi for hiding vehicle registration number

The police are keeping an eye on such violators and a fine has also been imposed for doing such acts.


 =The national capital witnesses numerous cases in terms of hampering of rules and regulations, whereas a maximum number of challans and fines are imposed per day including cases such as drink and drive, over speeding and many others.

On Tuesday, 250 violators were fined in Delhi for hiding their vehicle's registration number, the police said.

As per the statement given by the special commissioner of police, Muktesh Chander said that a special drive was started on Tuesday to prosecute drivers who were deploying various means to hide their registration numbers to dodge the police. "Our teams have been noticing that many drivers were using ribbons and ropes to hide their registration number." Accordng to the police, these methods were being used to prevent speeding and red light violation, cameras from reading the number plates and in turn saving challans. The police said that such " hacks are not going to work." 

The police are keeping an eye on such violators and a fine has also been imposed for doing such acts.
