3 dead after roof collapses in UP’s Deoria…

CM Yogi Adityanath announces relief of Rs 4 lakh


One after another mishap takes place each and every time.  Another incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria where three have been reported dead after a roof collapsed . 

According to the information, Three people died on Monday after the roof of a two-storey building collapsed in Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria.

 

 According to police, the three who died were members of a family who were residing in the building.

 

The three dead have been identified as Dilip (35), Chandni (30) and their two-year-old daughter. Their bodies were removed from under the rubble after the roof of the building collapsed.

 

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences to the surviving family members and announced an ex-gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased. Yogi instructed officials to give the relief amount from the Disaster Relief Fund. He also asked the District Magistrate and senior police officers to reach the spot immediately.

 

Instructions were given to provide relief amounts to all the dead from the disaster relief fund. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed the proper treatment of all the injured. CM Yogi wished speedy recovery of all the injured," read a statement from the Chief Minister's office.

 

Authorities reached the spot and evacuated the adjoining houses. Superintendent of Police (SP) Sankalp Sharma said the police are investigating how the roof collapsed.
