38 Cows Killed In Fire At Cow Shelter In UP

Fire broke out at a dump yard!


Thirty-eight cows were killed when a fire broke out at a dump yard. 



According to an official statement it said, the incident took place around 1.30 pm at the goshala in Kanawani village under the Indirapuram police station limits.



As per the Statement given by the chief fire officer it said, The fire spread very fast, and soon the ‘gaushala’ was gutted. There were around 125 cows in the cow shelter. The fire engulfed the entire area where the cows were kept on a leash and workers found it difficult to reach them amid the raging inferno. As a result, at least 36 cows have perished and two of them have suffered burn injuries during the incident,” said Sunil Kumar Singh.



Further said, “The residents of these shanties generally use 5kg LPG cylinders, which they procure locally. We have come to know that 12 such LPG cylinders exploded. We pressed into service 10 fire tenders and it took around an hour to douse the flames. The fire spread fast due to the prevalence of strong and dry winds,” Singh added.



Later, Circle Officer (Indirapuram) Abhay Kumar Mishra put the variety of cows killed within the incident to 38. Mishra is among the many members of a committee shaped to probe the matter.



The different members embrace the chief fireplace officer and the chief growth officer of the district. Witnesses stated there’s a dump yard near the goshala which caught fireplace within the afternoon amid scorching warmth.
