A superfast train derailed near Madar railway station in Rajasthan's Ajmer, with four coaches and the engine affected. The incident occurred around 1:00 am during the night.

 

Officials reported that four coaches and the engine of the Sabarmati-Agra superfast train derailed near Madar railway station. Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene.

 

There have been no reported casualties or injuries in the incident.

 

Passengers recounted that the incident occurred around 1:00 am while they were asleep, and they were startled awake by a loud noise.

 

Rescue teams, including the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police (GRP), along with the Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) and senior officials, are on-site. They are working to reposition the derailed coaches and engine onto the track.

 

Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of the North Western Railway, confirmed that no casualties were reported in the incident, and restoration work is underway. He expressed hope that the team would soon complete the restoration. Senior officials are present at the site overseeing the work. Additionally, a helpline number, 0145-2429642, has been set up for assistance.
