4 new cases of Omicron detected in Delhi, touches 49 cases in India

Omicron cases are rising


On Tuesday, the Delhi health minister, Satyendar Jain informed that four new cases of omicron have been reported in the National capital.

 

The cases of the New Covid-19 led Variant Omicron is speeding up in India. The cases are rising gradually. The National capital has reported four fresh cases of Omicron and the total cases have touched to 49 in India. The capital city carries a total of six cases of new variant Omicron in the city.

 

According to the statement given by Satyendar Jain he said, "of the six cases,one patient has been discharged from the hospital." He also said currently,35 Covid patients and three suspected cases of omicron are admitted to the LNJP hospital."

 

The omicron cases that are said to be highly transmissible have now been reported in six states. Maharashtra carries 20 cases, Rajasthan 9, Karnataka 3, Gujarat 4, Kerala 1 and Andhra Pradesh 1, Delhi 6 and Chandigarh 1.

 

According to the data by the Union health ministry, India's Covid tally rose to 3,47,06,355 with 5,784 people testing positive for the infection in a day, while the number of active cases declined to 88,993.
