4 suspected terrorists encountered on Jammu Kashmir Highway
Four suspected Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists, were killed in an encounter with security forces on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Nagrota early morning on Thursday. The alleged terrorist were hiding in a truck, when the security forces pounced on them, a police man has also been reportedly injured in the encounter. The police said that the terrorists were headeing towards Kashmir, maybe for terrorist attack.
According to sources, the tip off about the about the movement of terrorists was received from Samba sector towards the Nagrota toll plaza.
While the truck driver is absconding, 11 AK-47 rifles, 3 pistols and 29 grenades, have been recovered from the truck. The highway is closed for public transport amidst police security
