40 lakhs taken from a biker's bag at Delhi traffic signal.....

Two men have been arrested...


At Delhi's Red Fort, on Tuesday two men have been arrested for robbing Rs 40 lakh from a biker's bag as he stops his bike during traffic signal, CCTV footage showed the truth. Police said.

 

In CCTV video, on the evening of March 1 three men were showed closely following a bike in a heavy traffic.

 

When the bike slows down due to traffic signal and comes between two cars, the robber quickly walk up to the bike.

 

Unknown to the motorcyclist, one of them unzips the backpack on his shoulders and swiftly pulls out something. He then passes it on to the others and within seconds they disappear from the scene.

 

The whole scene was not seen by anyone surrounded in cars stopped at little distance away from the biker.

 

Among three, two men have been arrested. Identified as Aakash and Abhishek. The group is known to target bikers, police said.

 

Out of the Rs 40 lakh reported stolen, Rs 38 lakh have been recovered from them, they added.
