46 suspects arrested by Turkish Police...

Explosion in Istanbul...


Over the explosion in central ?stanbul Turkish police have arrested 46 people that has left minimum six people dead and 81 other’s wounded, ?stanbul police have stated. 
 

On Monday Suleyman Soylu, interior minister told reporters that the suspects with the “ person who left the bomb caused explosion” on Turkey’s largest city, the busy Istiklal Avenue.  


A three-year old girl and her father were among those who were killed. Al Jazeera’s Sinem Koseoglu, reporting from Istanbul, said.

 For Sunday’s blast Soylu, blamed the Kurdistan workers Party (PKK) at tourism spot and popular shopping centre. Saying: “Our assessment is that the order for the deadly terror attack came from Ain al-Arab [Kobane] in northern Syria,” where he said the group has its Syrian headquarters.

“We will retaliate against those who are responsible for this heinous terror attack,” he said, adding in it 81 people had been wounded, two of them in critical condition.

A senior Turkish official said on Monday, Turkish authorities are not ruling out ISIL (ISIS) ties, 
A statement has issued by PKK, in which it has denied involvement in the attack, and expressed its condolences.

The explosion occurred just minutes after she got up, from the bench where she was sitting for more than 40 minutes on Istiklal Avenue he said, Justice minister Bekir Bozdag told that, a Haber television later on Sunday.  

He told A Haber, “There are two possibilities,” “There’s either a mechanism placed in this bag and it explodes, or someone remotely explodes it”.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday described the explosion as “treacherous” and said it “smells like terrorism”.
