7 More Rescued From Rubble of China Hotel Collapse

The Siji Kaiyuan hotel collapsed on Monday afternoon, with authorities initially saying one person had died.


In the eastern China city of Suzhou, the rescuers saved the people out of the rubble of a small budget hotel which collapsed on Monday afternoon.In the incident only one person died, otherly from the source, 14 people were rescued. However, the valid number of people missing can’t be informed yet. In addition, how the disaster took place couldn’t be told yet. In 2018 the hotel was opened with 54 guest rooms, according to one of the  travel sites -Ctrip.

Suzhou, a tourist place is known for its canals and centuries-old gardens, a city of over 12 million roughly 100 kilometers (60 miles) west of Shanghai.In China, building collapses or accidents are common and happen due to low construction standards or corruption.

Earlier, in March in the China's Quanzhou city a hotel collapsed were 29 people lost their lives, due to storey structure of illegally building work In May, authorities evacuated people from one of China’s tallest skyscrapers, the SEG Plaza in the southern city of Shenzhen, after it shook multiple times over several days.
