Delhi: a 12-year-old boy was killed by his classmates when he caught them smoking, the incident took place on Friday, police said.
The body of the minor boy was found near a government run school dumped in Badarpur area of the national capital.
Around 8:20 pm on Friday evening, the police received the information regarding the body of a child was found in a drain floating near a government school, a senior official said.
He added, the boy was identified as Saurabh, he was in class 8 in a local school run by the (MCD) and a resident of the Bilaspur camp in Molarband village of Badarpur.
The senior officer said the two accused have been detained and further investigation in the case is underway.
