A 12TH CLASS STUDENT ALLEGEDLY STABBED IN FRONT OF SCHOOL

Delhi: a 12th class boy was allegedly stabbed to death on Tuesday in southeast Okhla outside his school, clash between two groups of students, police said.

 

Mohan 18-year-old boy, a resident of JJ camp in Okhla Phase II, student at Kalkaji School.

 

Mohan had gone to school to give his physical education exam and while leaving school, he had fighting with a group of boys who caught him and during the fight one of them took out the knife and stabbed him in his chest, victim's family stated. The fight took place over the boy was talking to a girl, police said.

 

He was admitted to Purnima Sethi Hospital where he succumbed. Between the two groups of students there was a quarrel, near Hansraj Sethi Park during which the boy suffered after he was allegedly attacked and wounded.  According to the police.

 

Police said, a murder case has been registered.

 

The local inquiry is being conducted and CCTV footage of that area has been checked to identify and trace culprits, police said. Meanwhile, the victim's family was busy in preparation of his sister marriage scheduled in first week of February.

 

Victim's mother, Geeta said, “My son may never return he had gone to school. My daughter's wedding is scheduled on February 6.

 

"We are now preparing the last rites of my son, instead of wedding celebrations of my daughter. He is no more. I want justice for him. Those who involved in killing him should not be spared and must be punished." She further said.
