On Tuesday a 19 year old girl commit suicide after her boyfriend threatened her and her family to life at Bhatauli village in Harpalpur area in Hardoi of Uttar Pradesh.
As per the information the girl marriage was fixed on 3 May 2023, after the news of her marriage received by the boyfriend "Vaibhav". He went to her house and threatened the girl and her family members and asking them to cancel the marriage otherwise he will not let her marry someone else.
According to the information shared by the Additional superintendent of police (ASP) of western Hardoi, after the threat the family members and relatives of the girl beaten her, they even threatened them to kill and raised a complaint.
Being scared and frustrated from the threats from her boyfriend and family members the girl hanged herself in her room after two days of the threat.
Police have registered a FIR against four people including her boyfriend Vaibhav.
Further investigation are underway.
