A 32-year-old man has been arrested in New Delhi for allegedly assaulting a 62-year-old American woman.
On May 4, she filed complaint to the police, in which she confess that the accused, Gagandeep, had promised her of marriage and established physical relations with her. The woman, a software engineer by profession. On May 5, a case under relevant IPC sections was registered.
In 2017 the woman visited Agra and stayed at a homestay owned by the accused, she informed police.
She also confess that the accused took her to a house in Surajmal Vihar and even took her to Punjab. She also alleged that the accused made her consume a drink laced with sedatives following which she was assaulted. She later found that the accused was already married.
