A Teenage Boy Lost His Life


Few days ago a 13 years old boy got kidnapped from Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district for a ransom of Rs 2 crore. On October 18, 2020, Sunday morning he was found dead, said by police.Police also said that the boy was allegedly murdered by three men, they committed this crime after receiving Rs 8 lakh ransom from the victim's family, the accused has been arrested by police.
Police stated that the accused killed the victim because he recognised one of the accused as an acquaintance of his father.

City Superintendent of Police Alok Sharma said, "The body of the victim, who was the the son of a local transporter, was found floating in Bargi dam canal near Bichua village, which is located around 20 km away from here." He also said that they have found a piece of cloth which was wrapped around the victim's neck, it is suspected that probably the boy was strangulated with that piece of cloth before the body was dumped into the canal.

On Thursday, October 15, 2020, the boy was kidnapped from Dhanvantri Nagar area, when he went to buy some items from a shop near his home, later the victim's mother and father got ransom calls for Rs 2 crore and the kidnapper warned them not to approach police,the official stated.

Sidharth Bahuguna, Superintendent of Police identified the accused as Rahul alias Monu Vishwakarma age 30, the victim recognised him as his father's acquaintance, Malay Rai age 25 and Karan Jaggi age 24. They are now under police custody. Vishwakarma and Jaggi have a criminal background with approx twelve criminal cases which includes loot, theft, extortion and sexual assault.

During the interrogation the accused accepted their crime and stated that they were jobless and had no money from past one month, that's why they committed this act. They kidnapped the victim and demanded Rs 2 crore from his family but then they settled for Rs 8 lakh, which was paid to them, but they murdered the boy as he recognised one of them.
Police have seized 7.66 lakh.
The case is underway.
