A College Student Found Hanging in Telangana Hostel Room

A second-year student in Suryapet, Telangana, was discovered hanging in her hostel room on Saturday night, following her attendance at a farewell party held on the college premises earlier that day.

The incident occurred at Social Welfare Gurukula Girls College around 9:30 pm, while the farewell party was still ongoing.

Before her death, the woman had returned to her room and video-called her mother, according to the details provided.

During the video call, she had shared details about attending the college party with her mother.

The woman's parents received a call from the college authorities, who informed them that their daughter was unwell and had been rushed to a hospital.

The woman's family alleged foul play and claimed that the college staff had left the hospital before they arrived to see their daughter.

Meanwhile, an investigation into the matter had commenced after a case was registered.
