A Man stabs wife to death In Ghaziabad

His son filed a complaint with the police in connection with the case. Later on, police arrested the accused.

The incident happened around 8 am on Tuesday when an argument broke out between Dharmveer and his wife Sundari aged 50 years over making tea.

The argument escalated and Dharmveer attacked his wife on the neck three to four times with a sword-like weapon kept at home. He then fled from the spot.

After receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem.

Subsequently, a case was registered based on a complaint filed by the woman's son, following which Dharmveer was arrested.

"We received information about the murder of a 50-year-old woman in Fazalgarh village, at around 8 am on December 19.

The accused had killed her with a sharp weapon which was kept at home.

A case has been registered under relevant sections on the complaint of the woman's son and the accused is being taken into custody for further legal proceedings," a senior police official said.
