Siliguri in West Bengal where a man died by suicide hours after allegedly killing his girlfriend. A day after the nation was left in shock with the news of a heinous murder in Delhi where a man killed and chopped up his lover’s body into 35 pieces, a similar incident was reported.
On Monday, Siliguri police found the multilated body of Rhea Biswa, who was murdered by his boyfriend. The man, Kiran Debnath, also died later while doing live streaming on social media by attempting suicide.
On Sunday he jumped in front of a train. Rhea’s body was recovered from the bathroom. According to police sources, Debnath tortured and battered Rhea later when she refused to leave her husband while being in a relationship with him for two years.
The Incident took place in the Chatura Gach Khatal slum area under the New Jalpaiguri police station of Siliguri Metropolitan Police.There were injuries and scuffle marks on the victim’s body,” a police source said.
