Aam Aadmi Party Leader, Saurabh Bharadwaj urges for states and Centre to work together for oxygen supply


The Oxygen crisis has created havoc among the family members of patients. Meanwhile, some hospitals in the National Capital are running with a shortage of oxygen.  Aam Aadmi Party Leader, Saurabh Bharadwaj was seen in a hospital bed with an oxygen mask strapped to his face. He has been tested positive for Covid-19 and has been admitted to the hospital.

The AAP leader urged the centre and the Haryana Government to work together and not to stop the supply of oxygen, he said that only three hours of oxygen is left in the hospital where he has been admitted and is requesting via video .he said "when I remove this mask, it feels like a non-swimmer has been pushed into a pool and is gasping for breath". further he said that, "a lot of people are dependent on oxygen and without oxygen, these people will die just like fish die in absence of water. This is a time for all to come together to work, said the leader.

Amid this Crisis, states have been bickering with the Centre or other state for the supply of oxygen and other requirements. The Supreme court asked to see a "National plan" on oxygen supply, essential drugs and method of vaccination and issued notice to the Centre regarding the same.
