AAP To Hold "Victory" Rally In Uttar Pradesh

AAP Didn't Win Any Seats In UP!


On Saturday, The AAM AADMI PARTY (AAP) will hold a victory rally in the Uttar Pradesh state. The party won the Punjab assembly elections on March 10. 

 

According to the information given by Sanjay Singh, Party Rajya Sabha MP said, The AAM AADMI PARTY will hold victory processions across Uttar Pradesh on March 12 to celebrate its resounding victory in the Punjab Assembly polls. 

 

Adding more he said the AAP's victory in Punjab shows that people have accepted the party as a national alternative and want to use the broom (AAP's election symbol) to clean politics.

 

Further, He said the AAP will also organize district and state executive meetings in Lucknow on March 23 and 24 to review the party's performance in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. Expanding the party organization in the state will also be discussed during the meetings.

 

The AAP contested all 403 Assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh but did not win any. The assembly elections results for the five states including Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, and Punjab were announced on March 10 when the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came into power in the four states. 

 

Also, the Kejriwal-led AAP has given certain Statements in the poll-bound state during the election meeting and rallies. The AAM AADMI PARTY contested in all 403 Assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, although it failed to bag any seats.

 

The BJP won 255 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. Its allies Apna Dal (S) and Nishad Party bagged 12 seats and six seats, respectively.
