Listing the various questions of the interview, we asked.

What is content for you that makes you unique!

I have forged my lane in the content creation field by creating a unique, fun and relatable brand of song-based humour. My videos often include a funny interpretation of popular songs. I combine misheard lyrics of these songs with relatable everyday life or often design scenarios where song lyrics just hit different! This mix has worked very well for me and I enjoy making it!

Please share with us the journey of reaching the family of 1.1 M followers on your Instagram handle.

First, I am incredibly grateful for the people who have supported me through this journey, watched my content and connected with it.

This journey was not all rainbows and roses! I often faced creative blocks and some doubts here and there. These are the things every artist must face and overcome. But seeing the impact my videos have and people supporting my content makes it all worth it for every like, comment, share and follow keeps me going and shows the impact these videos have on others.

Watching my achievement of reaching millions of likes for my content, is still unreal but makes me excited for the journey ahead.

Being an acting and animation graduate, what made you pick 'social media' to showcase your talent.

Getting into animation helped me to see that my mind is creative. Although, realising it was not the best field to showcase my creativity for long. Making any song and presenting it from a different perspective was something that I have been doing since my schooling, but back then, I did not have the appropriate platform to showcase it.

So, finally, when I found that platform in social media, I made sure not to lose this opportunity. I wanted to give it a try wholeheartedly and that has brought me where I am today.

What is creativity for you?

Well! It is very tough to state "creativity" in a few words. I believe everyone has a different definition. For me, it reflects in my videos and is something that amazes the viewers, makes them happy and possibly motivates them to try it as well!

I request you to share the procedure for making reel videos. How much time do you spend finalising the content and uploading it?

The creative process is not standard. To finalise a concept is very dicey, as sometimes it takes days to get an idea, and sometimes it only takes a few minutes!

Once the idea is final and I feel it is good enough that people will enjoy it, then it hardly takes an hour or more to convey it through a video.

What's life behind the cameras (making reels)?

Life behind the cameras is pretty much like normal!

I handle everything on my own. That can be taxing but gives me control. I take multiple retakes to find the perfect shot that does the video justice.

As Instagram is a hub of netizens, content creators get appreciation as well as critics. What are your reactions to the critics?

Over time, I have learnt that "You will encounter critics everywhere you go in life." If not on social media, you know them in real life around real people or strangers. Sometimes, they are the ones you know. But you must not dwell on it for too long!

Instead, accept the lessons from constructive criticisms and ignore the hate. It takes time but inculcating this is crucial for you.

As known, you started your career by making TikTok videos and later, it got banned in India. How did you manage to overcome the loss of that platform?

Making a point on this, I did not face severe loss in that situation as I was making TikTok videos out of enjoyment and as a pass-time. I was working as a designer at that time, which took care of my finances and kept me occupied.

Moving on to reels was not too big of a transition. I am glad we had Instagram! I am just grateful to have a platform. TikTok is of little concern to me.

Please share with us the survival story of the pandemic as a content creator.

The pandemic was a difficult time for everyone. During those days, I was concerned about the well-being of my family and kept myself cautious of everything happening around me. At that time, I felt the responsibility as a content creator. I believed that it was my duty to entertain and inform everyone. I feel immensely proud to say that I succeeded in that regard.

What is the best thing about being a content creator?

The best part of being a content creator is the amenities you get! Jokes apart!

Being a content creator, the best part is the appreciation and blessings you get from the viewers and the followers. Whenever I read my DMs (Direct Messages) and see that my videos can make someone's day and make them smile or laugh, that is the best feeling. It definitely fills me with a sense of pride.

Please share with us one memory you can never forget throughout your journey as a content creator.

In this 2-year-long journey of content creation, I have seen amazing days. Every day I get to do this thing has been memorable. I look forward to my work and thinking, making and presenting my ideas to the world every day worth the input and thinking of new ideas keep me excited.

I request you to share some tips to help the newcomers in content creation.

Even though I feel I am no one to give tips to others as every creative individual is unique and has their ideas and ways of expressing them.

I am still learning new things every day. But I would like to say this to newcomers:

Just be consistent and be patient.

Good things take time! Just keep doing your best and results will follow!
