Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided residence of Ananya Pandey for questioning against Drugs
Mumbai: Actor Ananya Panday's residence has been raided by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The actoress is summoned by the anti-drug agency at 2 PM today for questioning.
One of the youngest actors Ananya has reported being involved in the WhatsApp group of one of the accused drug-on-cruise cases, in which the son of Shah Rukh Khan Aryar Khan and 19 others are arrested.
The 22-year-old Ananya debuted in films in 2019 and has since been counted in the big league with several high profile projects. She is the daughter of actors Chunky Panday and Bhavana Pandey.
These famous star kids Aryan 23-year-old and Ananya are part of a group of star children who have been known to socialise together. They have a common circle of friends. Ananya and Aryan's sister Suhana are best friends.
According to the anti-drug agency, in several past years, they have been investigating Bollywood to get the insiders-link about the drug suppliers and consumption. Many high profiled personalities were involved in these cases. One of the recent is Shushant Singh Rajput's death case. The case is connected with drug consumption.
Recently, Aryan Khan has been jailed in the drug case. His bail has been denied on every hearing. The court says that his WhatsApp chats have evidence of having involvement in drug consumption and illicit drug activities.
According to the Aryan Khan's Lawyer, they didn't find anything against him.
The special court said: "WhatsApp chats prima facie reveals accused Aryan Khan is dealing in illicit drug activities for narcotic substances on a regular basis."
It also said the chats revealed a "nexus of the Accused no 1 (Aryan Khan) with suppliers and peddlers".
