The picture depicts the fear among people of the Taliban who have returned to power nearly after twenty years.

Several visuals surfaced on social media in which people could be seen rushing to the Kabul airport on August 16 to escape the Taliban rule in Afghanistan. One such picture of 640 Afghans packed inside a US cargo plane has gone viral on various social media platforms. The picture depicts the fear among people of the Taliban who have returned to power after nearly twenty years.

The US defence and security news site Defense One took the picture in which 640 Afghans can be seen jammed and sitting on the floor of the Air Force's C-17 Globemaster III. It appears that none of them took any luggage with them which means that they left all their belongings behind while fleeing the Taliban takeover.

According to the website, the plane flew to Qatar and the passengers disembarked there. Another video has also gone viral where two stowaways could be seen falling from the transport aircraft during the take-off which led to their deaths. Earlier, the stampede at the airport had left seven people dead.
