Gaza launches blood donation campaign in the city to help those people injured due to the deadly earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

The campaign carried out by Palestinian volunteers’ part of a solidarity initiative after earthquake killed and injured thousands of people last week, Naglaa al-Ghalayini, the coordinator from the Al-Amal foundation for orphans said.

"This initiative started in the view that the Arab world and the Islamic world are one world and one body, what hurts Syria and Turkey will hurt Gaza and Palestine," al-Ghalayini said.

"Gaza is not able and do not have the equipment to help wounded people with equipment and essentials and the country in its worst condition, but people do have book in their veins to offer our brothers in Turkey and Syria our love and loyalty to all people who supported Palestinian cause and supported Gaza."

Al-Ghalayini showed condolences to the families of the deads and injured in Turkey and Syria, and wished a quick recovery for the injured.
