MP's CM vows to provide free vaccination.
On Thursday, Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took to his twitter handle claiming to facilitate free vaccination to all citizens of state as soon as the vaccination would be approved by ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research). This announcement rose to limelight after Tamil Nadu's CM Edappadi K. Palaniswami declared the same, a few hours earlier, to this decision.
The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman drafted BJP's manifesto for Bihar Elections assuring the free of charge provision for covid vaccine. Covid 19 daily case count has dropped significantly in the last 15 days reaching a daily average of 55,000 cases with a delightful recovery rate of 100%. At present 7,15,812 active cases are under observation. A surge of 77 lacs has witnessed till now.
Once the effectiveness of vaccination would be tested and passed then grants for large scale production of it will be given. Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated "Coronavirus vaccine preparation work is going fast in India. It will be made available to every citizen of Madhya Pradesh after clearance."
In wake of such promising announcements, Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister, Sushil Kumar Modi was tested positive for Covid 19. He was seen campaigning actively for Bihar elections scheduled for next month. Moreover, India uplifted the sanctions imposed on Foreign Nationals, OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) and PIO (Person of Indian Origin) to travel India via air or sea. All such people can enter India for any purpose other than tourism.
Covid 19 vaccine is the most awaited invention in medical science after such a horrifying pandemic. More than its availability, its accessibility and affordability are prime parameters to be judged.
