Agra Doctor, Aged 38 Murdered At Her Residence.

38 year old doctor murdered at home in Agra, UP.

On Friday afternoon a 38 year old dentist was murdered at her residence in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The culprit of the heinous act was allegedly a man who acquired entry to her home with an excuse of recharging the set top box of her house.

Dr. Nisha Singhal was attacked with a knife and her throat slit up. Dr. Singhal’s two children aged eight and four were in the other room of the house when their mother was killed. The children were also attacked by the attacker but somehow they survived. Dr Ajay Singhal who is the husband of Dr. Nisha Singhal is a surgeon was at his work place at the time of the attack. As soon as he learned about this hideous incident he rushed home and immediately moved his wife to the hospital where she died of her injuries.

The accused named Shubham Pathak was identified by the Agra police using the CCTV footage and is now under their custody. The police said that the accuser’s prime intention was to rob the Singhal home. After the murder of Dr. Singhal and the attack on her children the accused still remained inside the Singhal’s residence for over an hour, the cops stated.
