Delhi: AIIMS to resume its outpatient services from June 18 in a phased manner


Due to the rise in Covid-19 cases  outpatient services were closed in AIIMS Delhi. However, after the unlocking and downfall in Covid-19 cases, AIIMS Delhi is to resume its outpatient services from June 18 in a phased manner. As of now, OPD registration will be done only for those who are having prior online or telephonic appointments and walk-in registration decisions will be taken after reviewing the Covid-19 situation. 

According to an order, it said that the Head of the department of all clinical departments have been requested to provide a proposed number of new and follow-up OPD patients per day who are to be given online/ telephonic appointments. Further, it also said that "In view of considerable decrease in covid-19 cases, it has been decided by the director AIIMS to re-start the OPD services in a phased manner at the earliest but least by 18 June."

Meanwhile, All HoDs have been requested to provide the requisite information within two days of the issue of the order.
