Flight landed in Abu Dhabi after detecting a flame...

On 3 February 2023, the Air India express flight from Abu Dhabi landed back to Abu Dhabi airport after the flames were detected in the engines after the takeoff.

As per the information shared by the directorate general of civil aviation on Friday that 184 passengers are on board while the flight takes off and all the passengers are safe and the landing of the aircraft made safely.

He also informed that after taking off and climbing to 1000 feet, the pilot detected the flame in one of the engines and informed that Air India Express B737-800 aircraft VT-AYC operating flight IX 348 from Abu Dhabi to Calicut returned to the airport.

Earlier in December 2022 Air India Express B737 flight from Calicut to Dubai took off as per the scheduled and after landing to Abu Dhabi the crew reported a snake in the flight.
