Police registered a case against two people in the case
On Sunday, a 25-year-old Bhojpuri model and actor, Akanksha Dubey, was found dead inside a hotel room in the Sarnath area of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
As per the information, the police registered a complaint against two people identified as Saman Singh, a Bhojpuri singer, and his brother Sanjay Singh, who is associated with Bhojpuri films by Akanksha's mother, on Monday.
According to the Additional Commissioner of Police of Varanasi, Santosh Singh, mentioned that Dubey died by suicide in the hotel after she came back from the party and before she also went on Instagram Live before committing suicide, where she was crying and upset. He further added that the room was locked from inside.
Akanksha's make-up artist Rahul informed the police that he visited her, but Akanksha didn't open the door, and he heard a running water sound. He waited for her response for at least 25 minutes, but when she didn't answer after waiting so long, Rahul called the hotel staff, who managed to open the door and find her hanged in the room.
